Molly In Europe: Day 3
We got a very late start today.
By the time everyone was up, showered, dressed, fed and ready to go, it was about 12:30. We arrived in Delft around 1 and spent forever trying to find a parking spot.
At around 1:30 we went to a convent where the king of Holland was murdered some time ago that nobody remembers because we are Moores and Youngs and our memories fail. Mom decided she wanted a cup of coffee so we went to Kleyweg’s Stads-Koffyhuis for that. (I took a sip too. It was very good.)
After we walked around and saw some other neat places, we decided it was lunch time so we returned to Kleyweg’s Stads-Koffyhuis and had a simply amazing lunch. I had tomato soup with bread and mint tea. We wandered around a while after that looking for a certain store our mothers had been to a while ago, and when we found out that it was closed, we ended up in Outcast which wound up being a pretty successful small shopping excursion. It was then time to come back to the house.
Quote Of The Day:
Me: I'm hungry. what's for dinner?
Sharon: I dunno...
about 15 min later
Sharon: So what's for dinner tonight?
[epic.]

Dearest Tbga,
This is still mostly food.

Holland...and such.
THIS PAGE WAS IN DUTCH A SECOND AGO! WHATTHEEFF???
anyways I'M IN HOLLAND with my cousins & co. (mom & my obnoxious brother are here too XP)
we drove to Atlanta first and spent the night with AUNT SAMMY OF AWESOME before flying here sooo here's mostly everything so far
Starting with Atlanta:
We were greeted warmly by the infamous scoundrels of the Sharp household: Dinky, Darcey and Mo. Mom and I took a short trip to Chick-Fil-A to grab a bite to eat and after filling our rumbling stomachs with chicken and such, the four of us ran to Wal-Mart to pick up some last minute necessities (namely, underwear). Upon returning to the house, Aunt Sammy took me along with Monkeyface to the pool where we stayed until about 10:00. She then showed us the one leash that she has for her three dogs that is essentially one leash with three leads. We ended the night with some frozen strawberry popsicle-like treats. I would tell you the name but we’re sworn to secrecy. In the morning, Monkeyface, Mom and I made sure we had everything ready to go to the airport, and then joined Aunt Sammy at the pool for a short swim. At about noon, we scurried home and took showers so that we could be at the airport by 2:00. (I’m convinced that we made it there at the time we wanted to because we had Aunt Sammy-Mom would have had us there around 4)
The Atlanta airport was a zoo, yet it didn’t seem to take us too long to get our boarding passes and get through security. We found our gate and then had about 2 ½ hours to waste and we were not about to sit for that amount of time considering the fact that the length of our flight would be around 8 hours. We kept passing by soldiers, so we thanked a huge amount of them for their service to our country. Mom told them what heroes they are, and we took some pictures. Apparently there were about 300 of them who had been in the US for a 2 week break from being in Iraq and they were headed back. Monkeyface inquired as to how long their flight would be. It turned out to be a shocking 16 hours! Anyways, I’m convinced that we spent about an hour and 45 minutes (at least) walking around the airport trying not to sit down. We were a big success at the whole not sitting thing.
It was an incredibly long flight. Thankfully, it’s supposed to be easier flying back to the states. I only slept about an hour. Mom and Monkeyface slept a couple hours each. We finally landed in Amsterdam after sitting for 8 hours. I was very happy to see a bathroom that wasn’t thousands of feet in the air. Aunt Annette met us at the airport and brought us to the house of the Young Clan in Holland.
We arrived in Holland around 4:00am (NC time) which was about 10:00 where we were.
After saying our hellos, I took a short nap and then was rudely awoken by mom.
Me, Sharon, Mother Dear, and Aunt Annette rode bikes into town and had lunch at a place called “En Oranje” which was very tasty. Ever tried caramel tea? It’s amazing.
We explored for a while and went into a few little shops including the many different places that are spread out along the street with foods you would normally find in one place: your local grocery store. There is, in fact, a grocery store in Holland. However, there’s also a store for meat, a store for cheese, chicken, fruits and vegetables, desserts, etc.
We didn’t do much the rest of the day. More napping, mom and Monkeyface went with Uncle Brian on a bike ride to the beach, hanging out around the house, dinner, and watching The Tudors :D
At about midnight, Sharon and I went downstairs and ate strawberries with whipped cream…which actually turned into whipped cream with some strawberries.
We all finally showered this morning! Woohoo! I think I might have been the last one out of bed.
Once we all got out of the house, we went to see the WWII bunkers on the nudist beach. The only nudist was about 3. We then went on the tops of some dunes and had lunch, after which the boys played while everyone else napped. Scheveningen was our next stop. It was a pretty awesome place. We stopped at El Nino for some snackage and Sharon and I shared a mojito, some fried fish and french fries dipped in ketchup as well as mayo.
Apparently people live in the courthouse where Sharon’s school had prom this year. The building is AMAZING. We returned to Wassenaar and were lazy for a while. Dinner consisted of salmon, zucchini and artichoke. I made a cake for Uncle Brian for Father’s Day J but Sharon had to put on the icing because I failed at it. Sharon and I watched a bit more of The Tudors. This show is addicting.
We also found a tick on Chipper (their dog) and had a spazfest in the kitchen before flushing it down the toilet when we couldn’t find matches to burn it with.

Randomness and such
Hiya peoples of the internet :)
Tis Mollyyyyy.yeah.
Guess what. I freaking LOVE the rain.
Right now there's an EPIC thunderstorm {yay for laptops} and I am loving every second of it...which is rather odd considering thunderstorms usually scare me To DeAtH. (Last week Aly was over and we saw lightning, grabbed our chocolate chip cookies, and dove under my bed.)
I think maybe I have finally lost it. My sanity has gone *schwoop!disappearedness* and left me utterly crazy & confused. Last night I had a total emotional breakdown over absolutely nothing. It was so bizarre. I was just sitting in my room and suddenly felt a bit depressed for some reason and before I knew it, I was bawling. I have no idea what it was, but whatever it was, it was tearing me apart from the inside out. I felt better after talking to my favorite manatee friend for a while :) he wins.
Anyways! Yesterday after our 4th period study session {eugh. exams. but I don't have any serious ones left :D I have chorus and P.E. for my last 2. what a joke} me, Aly, and Crant walked to my house XD it was only a couple miles so it didn't take us a terribly long time. It was actually pretty fun. Crant found a lost tennis ball and decided to carry/bounce it home, and we talked about Aly's crisis and other random stuffff. I greatly enjoyed their company as always but shorly after we got there, Aly has to leave (D:) due to the english powerpoint of evil. Crant and I hung out for a while and then he left around 5. (There's more but I don't really feel like telling the story of my brother's superawfulness.)
ALSO yesterday, I went running in the morning which is always AmAzInG! I was so happy that I got halfway back up the trail and decided to pay Reharrison a little visit. His dad answered the door and I told him with plenty of enthusiasm, HAPPY WEDNESDAY! (this was tuesday) XD XD XD it was hilarious. He didn't even correct me! I'm going to go back tomorrow and say HAPPY WEDNESDAY with JUST as much enthusiasm JUST because it'll be Thursday.
I wonder if he'll say anything this time...yesterday Reharrison told me that if I show up at his house at 6:30 again he'll actually get up which is very happy!
The storm is almost gone now :(
So I'm going to be gone too
*poof*
